Queensland Athletics extends an invitation to schools and school aged athletes to participate in the 33rd Queensland Athletics All Schools Cross Country Championships on the revised date of Saturday 9th May.
This year the Championships will again be staged at its traditional ‘home base’, Kedron State High School, and will also act as a selection trial for the Queensland Athletics Heat Team travelling to the Australian Cross Country Championships.
All school athletes aged 6-19 years, of all abilities, are encouraged to compete. There are no qualifying standards – everyone is welcome. Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable, yet challenging, cross country experience for all school students while also providing a pathway for athletes to progress within the sport.
Queensland Championship medallions are awarded to individuals and school teams in each age group, with trophies for the overall top primary and secondary schools and to the top boys and girls schools.
