Queensland Athletics extends an invitation to all distance runners to participate in the 2017 Queensland Cross Country Championships on Saturday 29th July.
After a successful event last year, the Championships will again be staged at the excellent cross country course at the Maleny Golf Club. Maleny is a small, scenic town 90km north of Brisbane, overlooking the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The spectator friendly and popular course has been a feature of the Sunshine Coast Cross Country Series for the last few years.
All runners aged 6 and up, of all abilities, are encouraged to compete. There are no qualifying standards – everyone is welcome.
The competition is also the final selection trial for the State Cross Country Team (U14 - Open & Multi-class).
