Meet 7: UQ Sport Athletics School Holiday Meet
Saturday October 5th
UQ Sport Athletics Track, St Lucia 

The Meet Series is open to athletes of all levels (12 years and over), as is popular among school and university-age competitors preparing for District, Regional and State-level events.

Sanctioned by Queensland Athletics, the Series features two School Holiday All Comers Meets, as well as the renowned UQ Sport 1500m Classic – an annual event that attracts some of Australia’s finest middle-distance runners.

All athletes competing must be registered with Queensland Athletics for insurance purposes.  To become a member, simply head to their website and register for $10 as a Base Member.

All Meets are sanctioned by Queensland Athletics:

Meets One to Five are State Permit events
Meet Six and Seven are Club Permit events
Meet Eight is a National Permit event

COST:
All Athletes: $12.00

 

ENTRY PROCEDURE:

 (Please note entry procedure for this meet is different from the previous meets – online entry is only indicating an intent to compete, rather than nominating your events.  A number is issued on arrival at the venue, for this particular meet.)

Register online – Go to the UQ Sport (www.uqsport.com.au/athletics) or Queensland Athletics (www.qldathletics.org.au/) websites and prepay your meet fee.  On the day of the meet go to the numbering table in the Meeting Room where you will be issued with your competition number for the meet          

OR

Register on the day -  On arrival athletes who haven’t prepaid should report to the Meeting Room and pay their meet fee to be issued your competition number for the meet

When events are scheduled, as per the program track athletes will report to the respective start areas where they will be marshalled; field athletes will report to the respective field event sites where their names, and numbers, will be recorded.
