UQ Sport and Queensland Athletics are pleased to announce the UQ Sport Spring Series for 2015. The seven meet series, conducted by the UQ Athletic Centre, will incorporate two highly successful annual events – the ‘School Holidays All Comers Meet’ in September and the ‘1500 metre Classic’ in November.

The Spring Series is open to any athletes aged 12 years and over (this excludes the ‘1500m Classic’ where athletes under 12 are able to compete). It is anticipated the series will cater for school aged athletes preparing for District, Regional and State Championships and University athletes preparing for the University Games. However, it is not restricted to these athletes only.

All athletes competing must be registered with Queensland Athletics. Athletes who wish to compete and are not registered with Queensland Athletics will gain registration for the duration of the Spring Series as part of their entry for their first meet.
