UQ Sport Kids – 2017 Winter Holidays Programs
UQ Sport Kids is heating up these Winter Holidays, with Athletics programs to keep your budding athlete active over the break!
Held at the UQ Sport Athletics Centre, at The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus, there’s Primary (6-11 years) and Secondary (12-17 years) track and field programs to suit children of all skill levels.
Sessions run from 8am-11am over two weeks: 27-29 June (Week 1) and 4-6 July (Week 2).

UQ Sport Kids – Term 3 Programs
Forget after school Netflix binges and drill into UQ Sports Kids’ Term 3 coaching programs instead!
The Lower Primary (6-8 years) program is where fun meets fitness! Here, children are introduced to the basics of sprinting, jumping and throwing.
In Upper Primary (9-11 years), it’s all about learning to compete, with more advanced events – including relays, hurdles and javelin – incorporated into training.
There’s also the UQ Sport Junior Athletics Squad, which caters to state and national-level athletes between the ages of 12-17.

Junior All Comers Meet (July 7, 2017)
The next UQ Sport Kids Junior All Comers Meet is on Friday 7 July (9am-12pm) at the UQ Sport Athletics Centre, and it’s the perfect opportunity for young athletes to put all they’ve learned into practice!
Cost is only $12 per child, with all events are professionally timed and measured – giving each participant an accurate indication of their performance.
