All athletes are invited to participate in the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Championships at Victoria Park.

There are no qualifying standards – everyone is welcome. Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable, yet challenging, cross country experience for all athletes while also providing a pathway for athletes to progress within the sport.

The championships also act as a selection trial for the Queensland Athletics Team which will compete at the 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships.

The Selection Criteria and Selection Policy can be found on the Athlete's page of the Qld Athletics website.

Queensland Championship medals are awarded to individuals and teams in each age group.

You must be a member of Qld Athletics, Qrun or Athletics North Qld to enter. If you are not a current member go to the Qld Athletics or Qrun membership page and join via a club. For casual membership direct QA membership can be found in the Membership Toolbox.

Entry Fee: $30 for Base/Qrun members, $20 for Gold/ANQ members, $0 Platinum members

On the day: As you will need bib numbers for this event you will need to check in at the QA Information area. Plan to be at the venue with enough time to collect your bib, get a feel for the course area and warm up. Be at the start area 15 minutes before your actual start time.

Rules to remember:
- do not pace/run alongside your child
- do not cut corners or cut short your course at all
- don't jostle/obstruct another athlete from their race
- do not run with earpods/headphones
- keep your gear on (bib, club shirt, etc) in competition (right up to medal presentation)
- U20 and Opens are required to adhere to the World Athletics shoes regulations
- be courteous at all times (no swearing, etc)
- keep within the course (red on the left, white on the right)

and of course have a great day with us at the Qld Athletics Cross Country Championships!
